There are always ready participants who are willing to supply the energy to fuel the nuclear reactor, which soon reaches critical mass, and is near to explode. The damage from fall-out cannot be estimated ...but, it doesn't matter to this sort. And unless we can identify the problem in time, and cool down the reactors, devastation follows.
I worked in a prison, so to a certain degree I understand the timely need in addressing problems without delay. Sometimes the only way to achieve peace is to separate people ...not their frontal lobes. A peaceful person can attempt to be in the same room as a hostile person ...and attempt to de-escalate the situation, or 'talk them down'; but an extremely violent person must first be controlled before a chance conversation can take place.
It should never be like the horror stories, alluded to in the movie, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. God does not take this approach with us. He allows us to make choices ...and choose how to behave, though that is not solely through personal liberties, but often also through the dictates of our culture and government. Yet, God does allow us to choose ...and He has not separated us yet.
If we select to live without the chosen influence of God, our lives become unpredictable ...and there are always those who thrive under those conditions. Some people may think that our world would just be an average place. But, an average is defined by highs and lows. Most people who strive for equality, are asking for it in a monetary sense. There is not much hope for equality of treatment. There will always be those who will have a more peaceful life ...yet, some people hope to achieve their skewed standard at the expense of others.
If we become so arrogant that we think we can politically decide when, where, and to what extent we want God involved in our lives ...I fear that we would eventually feel we could intellectually solve all our own problems, and assume we could get along without Him.
We would re-write the truth ...and just attempt to create it in any fashion we desire. And anyone who opposed us, we could accuse them of the same deceitful plot that we are already guilty of. It would serve as a distraction, as we flooded everyone with what we'd call the undeniable truth. We could say there is no heaven and no hell ...and create our own average. There'd be no hell down, and no heaven up ...just an average place, with top down and bottom up.
We could call this place Earth ...and we could separate ourselves, as to not challenge our deception. Of course, we'd have to deny that it would seem good for some, average for others, and terrible for still others. We could say we are striving to identify those who are the problem ...and deal with them through appropriate measures, but it would all have to be done as not to expose the corrupt intentions behind it all.
I have a deep desire to live out my life here on earth ...to help guide and be of encouragement to my family. I am not in a hurry to go to heaven, as I have a sense that I have more of a purpose here. But, I am not ignorant of those situations that exist ...more in some countries, than in others, where life is rather intolerable and they have only hope that the after-life is better than this life.
So, why doesn't God take us all now ...save us from the happenstance life, and give us a better life, now?
Many people think that hell cannot exist ...that a loving God would absolutely not stand for it. And if it did exist, God surely wouldn't allow it to be such a terrible place. But, I think with that sort of thought, that those people must imagine hell to be better than earth. I've heard some people actually say that sort of thing ...stating that hell would be better, because us Christians would not be there.
Well, there are many areas on earth that would beg to differ with such a loose statement that hell would be better than earth ...and some of those are living under conditions much closer to hell's influence than those who would say such a thing.
Those who say that a loving God would not have there be a hell ...would they also say that those hellish places on earth are not permitted in our imagination, nor within our scope of acknowledgment??
